I'm trying to import several tables from an SQLBase database (one at a time) and have been unsuccessful. Has anyone else needed to do this and had success?

I'm trying to get away from creating .csv files using Crystal reports and then importing them. Hopefully I can automate the procedure.

Thanks in advance...

I am trying to import a SQLBase table into a SQL Server table. Is there a way to do it directly?

Does SQLBase have an ODBC driver? If so, you should be able to set up a Data Transformation Services (DTS) package. Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to export from SQLBase and then import the text files to SQL Server. This import can be automated using DTS and a scheduled Job. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA

According to my DBA:

1. Create the schema in the SQL Server database.
2. Use DTS to transfer the data.
3. Clean up any TIME columns because DTS sets the date portion to the current date.
