Import Images

I need to restore a notes mailfile on a tape which image has expired.

I have imported the media on the master server, when I logon to the domino server and run the NBU Client, the image does not appear.

Any Ideas?

Windows 2000 environment
NetBackup 4.5mp6
Backup using Notes Agent

Can you not run the restore from the master? If you think about it you have imported an image which to the system is unknown, so it would have no reason to link it with the original server. I know you have to restore to a notes server but that is simple enough to do as long as you put the target ini file in the correct field.

I realised what I did wrong:

I imported the Tape, not the Image on the Tape.

I browsed to the Catalog, browsed the tape and it found the expired image. I then right clicked on the Image and chose 'Import'

then I went to the Client and run the NBU Client, and it showed the expired image listed.

Simple mistake by a simple admin!
