import file types?

hello i was just wondering if there's any way that i can make it so that my adobe premiere 6 can import files such as .WMV?

You will need to change wmv to avi or mpeg in order to use it. Adobe Premiere can't recognize the format.

well thanks for the help i tried virtual dub and new that earlier versions could import it but i didn't know which version didn't so thanks.
