I am trying to import contact list form ACT 2005 to Outlook 2003 but the phone numbers for some of the contacts do not carry over

Hi,

In the Import process, there is a place (and I can't remember exactly, offhand) where you can map import fields to Outlook fields.

Hello tinatoy,
I would first export the ACT! contact information as a tab delimited text file. Have you checked the export map in ACT! to make sure the phone fields are being exported? Then import it into Excel to do any data clean up that is necessary. Once the contact data is cleaned up I would then import the contact data into Outlook.

As SkipVought mentioned be sure to map the fields from ACT! into the proper fields in Outlook. It is one of the last steps of the Import Wizard, there should be a button that says "Map fields" or something like that.

Hope this helps.

Michael
