Hi, I'm going to guess the answer to this is no but is it possible to add an image (bitmap) to an HTML page without having to reference a webserver. For example could I take the byte representation of the image and load it from within the page itself?

If you save a web page in IE to Web Archive format, (*.mht), and view the source, you will see that any images present are embedded in the code, and thus loaded from the page itself.
