image glow and fade?

hello everyone

i was wondering how do i make the outside of an image glow with a colour such as yellow? and how do i make an image start to fade on the sides?

What version of PSP are you using? You can get the fadded edge look using selections or masks.

As far as the glow, there are several ways to get that effect. It really depends on what version of PSP you are using.

Check under Efects > Plug-in filters and see if you have EyeCandy 3.1. If not there is a free install for it. You can find a link to it from any search site.

EyeCandy's free 3.1 plugin for PSP has a very nice glow feature. I think you will find it exactly what you are looking for.
