Image GAllery???

Anybody know where i can get some good snippets to piece to gether a real simple Image Gallery.

This is what i have now...

I need simple catergories, simple uploads and simple displays,...I'm dealing with simple people here the easier and more basic the better, i can always expand upon this..
Looking for features like
Admin page to ..
Upload Image, Create Thubmnail, store file paths, and catid in a Mysql db.
Display Page,
Nice Tabled Layout, Paginated RecordSets, and Selectable CAtergories...

Any help would be great...yeah
