I am new to using threads for animation. I would like to have an image (c:/images/img01.jpg)that is being displayed in a label(MyLabel) animate upon the click of a JButton(MyButton)in my GUI of an application. Could somebody show me an example of code that could accomplish this. I have been able to animate drawn graphics in applets, but I just don't get how to do it with an image in an application.
