Hi !

I just started foxpro two days ago. I hav no idea what to do in order to learn it well. Do you have any suggestions ??

Thanks.

The MSDN Library (available on two CD's) is quite helpful. This gives you program examples etc...

I remember all too well trying to learn Foxpro. Your best best it to meet someone that knows the program! Try to find a foxuser group in your area, or someone local that uses it. There is no substitute for hands on knowledge from a someone. And you make a good friend to boot!

Well, I would suggest not using databases at all until you are very comfortable with the language. Databases can make things very complicated unnecessarily.

Actually, I would suggest not using databases at all but that may not be good universal advice. It is just my way.

I have been using VFP since the very beginning and have ventured into the land of databases 2 or 3 times but have always backed away due to unnecessary difficulty with relative simple operations.
