illegal indirection??

Hi,

Could someone explain to me what a:
"C2100 illegal indirection" would be in VC++?
And what I would need to look for to solve this problem.

Where foo is not a pointer, array, structure pointer or function respectively.

Also, next time, post some code along side the error message.
