My Sony PCG-F560 laptop had some problems. First, it was missing a driver, ddraw.dll, which I traced to a problem with ActiveX. The DVD player could not open without this driver. But then once I reinstalled ActiveX, the program would open, but would not play DVD's. The media bar would not play regular music CD's either. The message said, "Cannot play because of illegal audio or video settings." How can I get rid of this?
