IIS 1

I setup a new install of windows 2000 and was able to connect over the network just fine. Then I installed IIS and now when I try to connect from another PC over network neighborhood I get an error message that says "pc is not accessible. The Server service is not started."

I've checked and the server service is started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Restart the service, check the event viewer to make sure the service is being started when windows starts and also check for errors. If that doesnt work make sure you have ALL service packs installed and securtiy patches. Run IIS lockdown tool while your at it, its always a good idea. If NOTHING works, check the knowledge base.
