IIS web site load capability and stability?

Would IIS handle, without any problem, a site that will have no more than 1000 hits per day?

The client wants Small Business Server 2000 running on a Pentium 4 with 1GB ram. They will host their own site using CF MX Professional with SQL Server 2000 back end.

Has anyone come across any problems in this situation?
