IIS Uninstall

I am helping a friend with his small office’s Win 2003 server (12 users). He has all roles on one box (even though I advised him not to) DC, print server, file server, Exchange with OWA, IIS 6, Sharepoint and Act 8.0 - which is a contact manager by Sage.

Act creates a site in IIS for remote synchronization. A problem arose with IIS when Act had to be uninstalled/reinstalled. Act works fine now but the sync site doesn’t and neither does the default site. When I right-click the site in IIS manager and choose “Browse” - I get Page not Found. I get the same thing if I go to or if I hit it remotely from another PC. I check its directory: inetpub/ and default.htm is in there.
IIS is not completely broken though because OWA’s page, as well as Sharepoint’s page still works remotely or from using “Browse” in IIS manger.

After searching these forums for similar probs with IIS and not able to view a sites pages, it seems to me that I have to uninstall/reinstall IIS along with .NET framework.

And since I am not a IIS pro I came here to ask this question: If I uninstall/reinstall IIS 6.0 and .NET framework will I have to completely re-setup OWA or will it automatically find it’s site files & re-setup itself without too much hassle? (I'm leary of re-doing it because this whole server configuration seems a bit sketchy)

Has anybody here uninstall/reinstalled IIS with OWA on the box?

Thanks,

Eddie

Found problem

For anyone who find this in the future.....

While my default site was setup correctly, it turns out default.htm was configured to re-direct to a nonexistant URL.
Then I discovered that ACT! internet sync site's config setting (found in intenetsync.xml - I think) was reset to default setting when ACT! was reinstalled.

I corrected both and they work. (which is a lot better than reinstalling IIS, ASP.NET and Exchange!)

I hope this helps somebody.
