Hi All,
I have a website that requires e-mail to be sent out only...no incoming. I have configured the default SMTP site and it works. The trick is I now want the e-mail to be routed through my Exchange 5.5 box rather than being sent directly from the IIS box. I have configured IIS to see the exchange box as a smart host and it looks like it trys to send mail that way. However I get a Winsock error when it trys to connect to exchange. I guess my question is do I need to configure anything special on my Exchange box to accept this connection? Any help will be very much appreciated.

One of the first things u should do is enable routing in on ur exchange 5.5 box. *NOTE* Remember to set routing restrictions on ur exchange box or it'll only be a matter of days b4 you find that ur network's bogged down by spammers using ur exchange box to send mail. Good Luck.
