Hi,
I have an IIS server running and also using the same as an e-mail server. However, what happens sometimes is that: the website does not get displayed and when i check the reason for the same, i find that the IIS server is no longer running. I have to restart the same and it works.

Why does this happen at times?...i mean the serving getting down by itself. like the servers gets down by itself not that often...but like once in a week or something...or maybe a little more frequently.

Please suggest a solution to this problem such that if i start IIS once, i just need not worry about it.

Thanks!

Karthik.

Have you checked your servers event logs? If so, what can you see?
