IIS restart failure.

Have installed IIS 5.1 on a new XP Pro SP1 box. IISRestart/Restart in MMC leads to BSOD with AFD.SYS failure (process_has_locked_pages). Related symptoms are that W3SVC 'stop' never actually releases port 80. Issuing 'stop' via IISAdmin appeares to work, but port 80 is never released. No problems with stop/start for FTP and SMTP (ports 21 and 25).

Have reset the TCP/IP stack, have reloaded IIS 5.1. Your suggestions are appreciated.
