IIS not start after SP4

I´ve instaled W2000 Professional SP2 and then pached it whith SP4.

Now the IIS and the SMTP Services don't start.

The error 1053 only say what is a timeout.

How can repair it ?

When you request a site from the internet your browser will wait a specified amout of time. When that time expires it is called a timeout.

I have installed SP4 on a couple of systems not running IIS, and after restart they had a contiues boot. I clean installed 2000 again and reinstalled SP$ and they were fine. Other systems I installed SP4 were fine the first try. Do not know if this helps but, just my 2 cents worth

an of course the browser not found the web server.
