I am running an application that serves information through a webserver using IIS from windows 2000 profesional. I have to leave the computer locked when the application is running. when i try to run this application without using the administrative account (or an account with administrative rights) it will not start the webserver? is there a way to allow a standard domain user to start and access this? or is there no way to allow another user to administer and start IIS unless they have administrative rights? thats lame if it does!
By the way the application is RSView32. it runs an HMI type of interface as a RAD server and distributes the HMI display to other users. i want to allow normal domain users to see and use this computer i am running the server from but i dont want them to have the admin rights.
Thanks in advance
