Hi

I use IIS on Windows NT 4 and have a .asp page that logs users in to a website anyway when a user is inactive for 5 minutes the they get loged out because the server has a inactive timeout where do I actualy find that setting so I can make it longer to around 20 minutes?

Thanx

Quinton

Do you mean that after five minutes the users session times out? If so it's easy to set under IIS.

For a web server or folder (or file) right click, select properties, click Home Directory, click Configuration, click App Options and you'll see a value for session timeout.

Thanx I tried it but cant find the configuration option I tried right clicking on the shared folder and then properties but it only gives me the alias options and to alow scripts and executes etc.. no where do I find the configuration or app properties

Can you please be more descriptive as to where I can find those settings.

Thank you
