Hi,
I am having problems installing IIS on a WIN2K Server built with SP4. I am installing from mapped CD drive containing the WIN2K + SP4 disc.
I go to add/remove, select IIS then point to the mapped drive. However, it keeps asking for the SP4 disk - we tried loading another CD with the SP4 exe file but the files it is looking for are not there.

Any ideas?

try loading the CD on your hard drive and installing it from there It work for me

then remove the cd copy for disk space.

Space shouldn't really be an issue on a server, so you might as well leave the files there for ease of use next time. You can even edit the Source Path in the registry (SourcePath key in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion) to make it automatically point to that location when it needs the windows disc.
