Is anyone doing any work with IIS clustering? What are the different options that anyone has worked with as far as web clustering via either hardware or software? If anyone has any personal experience, please let me know. Thanks.

There are several options. F5 is one of them.

You can also look at the router vendors. Many network routers (Cisco, Foundry, etc) can do load ballancing nativly.

If needed you can also look at the Windows Load Ballancing Service (LBS). It can handle web load ballancing nicly, although it does add CPU load to the web servers.

i've been using a hp traffic director for about 3 years and it works great, if there is financial considerations you can just use dns, bind will manage the load.
