We run our OWA on a seperate IIS box,not the exchange box. I have just moved all of our company mailboxes to a brand new exchange server (with a different name and IP address)and OWA has stopped connecting. I can get to the logon screen and the other logon box even pops up , but then it just hangs with 'connecting to (IIS servers IP)'. I have tried to find somewhere in IIS that specifies the old exchange server name so I can change it, but cant find anywhere.

Does anybody have any ideas

Wardo,

This should have the information you are looking for. Gfunk123 I know that it does prompt you for the name of the exchange server during the owa install but I am not sure where it stores the information. Reinstalling OWA would correct the problem, I wouldn't want to do that so if you find where it stores that information let me know.

Well I finally got the whole thing to work.

I put an Outlook link on my website which pointed back out to the net with and then opened 8080 on the router and directed that port to the Exchange box.
Seems to work fine but I need to look further and read your link because this can not be the correct way to accomplish this.

Have you looked at the security permissions for the IUSR_xxxx account?
