Hello All,

I need some assistance with a problem that has been handed to me.

We run IIS at the moment for both an external site and a internal intranet. We are happy with this and have no problems to speak of. Our library department has recently purchased gateway/idexing software that runs on redhat with apache. This needs to be integrated with our current setup with IIS.
For those in the know, how do the two web servers fit together? Can you just create a virtual directory through IIS pointing to the Apache box? Do we need this Linux box to be part of our domain in any way?

Is there anything else I should know?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can be of assistance.

Josh

Hi Josh,
you can certainly set up an URL virtutal root in IIS to point off to whereever your Apache is running.

regards

Joel
