We are trying to get IIS 5.0 to allow a Perl script to communicate with COM1. The perl script works from command line and from cfexecute but not when called as a .pl or .exe from the URL. We suspect that this is due to IIS not allowing the script to have access objects outside of the webspace. Does anyone have any helpful information on the subject?
