hey there, I have taken a web site folder from a NT 4.0 server. Put it onto my new Windows 2000 server. I only have one IP so I had to choose "shared folder on another computer" as the home directory for the web site from my NT 4 server, which is the actual web server, I am just using the win 2000 resources...Before doing all of this the security of the front page extensions worked fine. Now that I changed everything, the security has been removed, and any one can edit my pages from MS Front Page!! I have removed and reapplied the server extensions with no success....any suggestions....is this a windows 2000 sharing issue....please help..thanks alot!!!!!!

k i fixed the prob...in case any one needs this help...here is the solution

1)created a new internet user guest account
2)on my win2000 server I created the INetpub folder and assigned only ADmin with full access and the "new" internet user access with read only access....
3)Now my site is secure again!!!(in regards to FP extensions)

thanks.....
