I'm running IIS 5.0 on a Windows 2000 Server machine. I'm also running the Crystal Web Reports service. (Crystal Reports version 8.5)
I have a set of reports that I store on the server, for my users to access via HTTP. For a few times, the user can view the reports with no problems. After awhile, though, the user will get "Access denied". I haven't changed any settings within that period of time.
Has anyone heard of IIS randomly losing permissions on a directory? Or would this possibly be something else?
One other thing - I've verified NT permissions on the directory (turned on anonymous, allowed Everyone) so that no one is restricted. Eventually, I'd like to restrict the users but until I get past this random permission loss, I need to leave it open.
Any suggestions?
