I have:
*Windows 2000 Small Business Server (SP3)
*1.3 gb RAM
*Pentium III 1.4 GHz processor
*Exchange 2000 (SP3)
*IIS 5 running a public web site (public IP address setup on our ISP's DNS)
*Internal private IP# 192.168.1.3 via NAT through our router
I've got Exchange working great, and I thought I had IIS working. But every couple days the web server stops responding. Exchange is still working fine, just no http pages being servered up.
When I look in IIS MMC, it shows that the default web site is running (port 80 on 'all unassigned').
c:>iisreset /status shows that everthing is running
If I use iisreset /restart it hangs and doesn't stop or start the process properly.
The only way I've found (so far) to resolve this problem is to restart the whole computer. I hate to do this because it makes the Exchange server unavailable.
TIA, any help in troubleshooting this would be appreciated!
