IGMP defaults on 6506? 1

This is the default on a 6500 I occasionally look after. It is running CATOS 7.2 so you may find the defaults will be different versions of CATOS or if your switch is an IOS switch.
set igmp enable
set igmp fastleave disable
Basically those 2 commands enable IGMP snooping globally but the fast leave function (whereby the switch listens to leave messages from clients and can therefore remove group associations with ports) is disabled.
