We have an 8500 3.1 networked through MPLS to our remote gateways with each having an LSP. We have a centralized call center. Calls that arrive from each location ultimately route to our call center at a different location. If a location's WAN link is out service the gateway goes into LSP mode with no connectivity to the rest of the network.

Question is: Will IGAR work when a remote gateway is in LSP mode? Can the calls that are coming into that LSP location then be routed out to the call center location using IGAR?

Thanks in advance for your reply

IGAR is used when you have limited bandwidth. DPT routes the call when the WAN is down. DPT uses the same settings that are in place for IGAR it's just a matter of turning it on.

We're getting ready to upgrade so DPT is the answer. Thank You!

I've been looking for some info how to configure this IGAR. Can anyone guide me on the first few steps?
