Hi,

I have a brand new laptop with WinXP. It's a P4 Mobile 1.5 GHZ with 768MB of RAM. All windows patches are installed. The problem is IE. It keeps crashing. It would freezes up the laptop and the only way to get out is to take out the battery.

Any idea?

Thanks.

You really should not pull the battery.

Holding the power button down for 6 to 10 seconds will shut down the machine.

No, holding down the power button didn't work.
