Morning, A client of mine is running win98 and is having web mail problems. When he opens his web mail, Internet Explorer informs him that his security settings are the reason he can’t download anything, however when I looked into it, everything looks fine. Any ideas? Thanks

In internet options:

1) As a test, enable all cookies on the privacy tab
2) On the security tab, select "default level" with internet highlighted at the top.
3) On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings at the bottom. On the next window that opens, make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is not checked.

After all that, you've reset IE to its defaults for the most part. Make sure there isn't a software firewall running that might be causing the issue.
