Recently, my ie6 has been acting wierd. On some web pages I get the old script error - do you want to debug, I click no. I then goto Internet Settings and promptly check off disable script debugging. Lo and behold, some hours or some days later, the message is comes back and the box is unchecked.
Any ideas?
tanx in advance.
xp pro. all the latest updates via windows updater.

Do you have any Java IDE's installed?

Do you have Microsoft Visual Studio installed?

There are two items to attend to if you want to disable Internet Explorer's displaying windows when there is a script error on a page,

Start Internet Explorer
Go to Tools / Internet Options
Click on the Advanced tab
Under the Browsing section, check Disable script debugging and uncheck Display notification about every script error
