I refer to a previous thread 779-841545 from linney, I have the same problem that when I go on the Internet (Dial-Up) the PC hangs maybe after a minute or 30 minutes.
I have tried all things on above thread to no avail.
It started when I put a AMD 2600 into my Asus A7v266 which I found later it didn't support but I had updated bios to 1011, I put my XP2100 back in and the problem has been there ever since.
Someone told me they had a similar problem with this Chipset and it turned out to be the BIOS settings, and as I have updated BIOS and set default settings there may be something that needs adjusting.
Can anyone help or I may get a asus A7N8X sooner rather than later.
