IE5.5 won't go there

Hi,
I recently shut down my computer for a week while I was out of town. Before I left I could type in something like 'msn' without the'

http://www.'

or the'.com' and IE would go directly to the site. When I returned and booted my computer that function didn't work anymore!!! anybody have any idea how to regain that functionality.

Hi Aconakc,

I believe you need to go to Tools-Internet Options-Advanced in your web browser and check the auto complete box for web addresses.

In Internet Explorer, clcick theSearch button on the toolbar, click the Customize entry that appears in the left pane, click the AutoSearch settings button and choose MSN (unfortunately) as your search provider, then select "go to the most likely site under the drop-down When searching box.

Hello again! To get the autocomplete to work againg you may want to look at Tools-Internet Options-Content-Autocomplete Just make sure the web addresses button is marked. I forgot that there was two different places in the options that you can set that.
