I need help with IE. When I go to google.com, which is my default home page, it is not working as it usually does. When I search for something, example: comcast.net, in the address bar it comes up with instead of the usual When it searches, I get a full page of crap like
info.com (find info on comcast.net), comcast cable tv for dish network, etc....) when I should get comcst.net. Also, it comes up with 8 million pages found, but there is no option for me to go to another page. When I click on a link on the main google page, I get this in the address bar:
and nothing comes up.
I am not even getting the I'm feeling lucky icon, or the new google toolbar icon on the bottom of the screen (log onto google.com to see what I am talking about).

Check the contents of your hosts file and make sure there arn't any random lists of IP's in there. I've noticed quite a bit of spyware causing problems like this recently, it seems to send you to all manor of nasty sites.
