IE keeps comiting error

When I open IE it connects and then up come the Error box and it shuts down ,after a couple more trys it just freezes up every thing. Started a couple days ago. virus scan comes up clean .Any one have a clue?? Kelly

It would be most helpful if you'd post the content of that error box, verbatim. Else, everyhting is guesswork.
