Hello,

I have a question about IE 6. When I reinstalled windows XP my internet explorer now try to automatically download everything as opposed to asking me if I would like to "run", "save", or "cacel". It just stores it into a temporary folder and runs the download. I do not want it to do this, I would like control on where I can save it to. Any information would be great!

Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced. Tick the check box "Notify me when download complete". This specifies whether to display a message at the end of a file download, to indicate that the download is complete.

Uncheck the two "Install on Demand" options also.
