When I click on IE icon on my desk top I receive the following message: My home page is google.com
When I open the browser I receive would like to open the file or save it to the computer. If I save it, the homepage opens and I am continue to browse the internet. If I cancel I can not. My security settings and privacy are to low and I continue to receive this file download message. How to I remove this? Thanks

make sure your homepage reads:

http://www.google.com

Try a different start page and see if it still occurs.
If you continually get the same thing happening, go to
Tools > Advanced and click 'Restore Defaults'. It should hopefully fix it.
