IE 5.5 Downloads OFX and QIF files as HTML only 1

IE will not allow the QIF and OFX extensions when downloading files from our website. It only allows them to be saved as HTML documents. I can't figure out where this needs to be changed.

If the problem you are experiencing is what I think it is, then this is a known problem with IE5.5SP1. Microsoft have issued a Knowledgebase article on it at the following address. Let me know with more details if this does not relate or does not fix your problem.

That was exactly what the problem was. We found a work around, by clicking "OPEN file from current location" and then it pops up the SAVE window to actually use the active document.
