On a 2503, it keeps restarting and the sh ver shows System restarted by error - Software forced crash. It seems that there are a lot of broadcast messages on the newtork that it is on. I've added more memory to see if it would help but it hasn't.

Any ideas?

reload the IOS, preferably with a new one version. I had a 2504 do this and it was the image had been corrupted.

mike is correct the last time I had this problem on a 2620
( i think ) we had to download a new IOS and install. After that all our problems went away. Jeter@LasVegas.com

HI!

I guess that the previous messages gave the correct diagnostic and solution,
but also check if there is a broadcast storm caused by HUB/SWITCH configuration and loops. (too many hubs/faulty hub/loops in hubs that don't know STP).

Bye
