I have been having the most difficult times with ICS, Sygate Interent sharing programs. To make sure everyone is up to par my network consists of a 10/100 Switch 5 ports, DSL Modem connect to Comp1 via a additional Network within Comp1. Comp2 is connected to the network, I have a peer to peer network at the moment.

Problem:
I am unable to establish a Internet Connection Sharing from Comp2.

Internet Connectivity:
Comp1 is the Main Computer, it has the Two NICs.
One NIC for the LAN and the other NIC for the DSL Modem.

Network Setup:
My LAN is using IP address for Comp1 192.168.0.1 and Comp2 is using 192.168.0.2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
Comp2 can ping Comp1, share files, etc...Comp1 Second NIC is DHCP by the DSL Modem Service. This is how I have it setup, don't know if I can do it any other way

I need help figuring out why I can't connect with comp2. Everything seems right, they both got network connectivity.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Assuming you haven't got 98SE (as you're using Sygate), you could try free proxy server at instead of Sygate - I never had any problems using this, simple to set up.

I forgot to mention my operating System is Window 98 SE.

Thanks

I will download analogx proxy file tho. I have been thinking of going the route of proxy, yet would like to still know why the ICS, Sygate sharing don't work, Sygate and ICS are the same thing, only sygate has more windows and options.
