ICS and slow internet connection

Hello I've got two computers running WinXP pro networked together through a CAT cable and an ISDN modem is attached to computer 1. Computer 2 accesses the internet through internet connection sharing but I find that computer 2's speed is fairly low when compared to computer 1.

Is there something I can do about this?
