Hello,

I have Windows XP Home. How do i change the icons of files associated with progams? For exemple: I have .jpg associated with Photoshop, wich defines an icon to this kind of file very similar to the others PS icons, such as .psd. Can i define another icon to these files (.gif, .eps, .wmf)?

Thanks

Windows Explorer > Tools > File Types > (highlight extension to change) Change > you will be given a list of programs to choose from - click on the one you want. (make a note before you change in case you have to change it back)

Try Control Panel/ Folder Options/ File Types.

Select File Type for the icon you wish to change.
Click on the Advanced button to bring up the "Edit File Type" window.
Click on the Change Icon button. Browse to any location you have alternate icons.
