I am trying to install ICMP filters on an 1150 and I am not having much luck. All I want is 1 filter to block pings, allowing all other traffic thru - I am either blocking everything or nothing - depending on the default action. I have a 8600 and the filters are working as advertised. The 1150 is running 2.0.7.8 code.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wrote filters on the 1000 series once: Globals do not work, only Source and Destination, only one default action works at all, as I recall Drop does not work.

I was only trying to raise the QOS and priority of packets to/from my PBXes

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
