Hi,

I had some troubles moving a BLOB of 1Gb to a CICS container because my compiler on the mainframe was limited to 128Mb.

Now I know there is a new compiler that can handle 2Gb. I like that very much.

As was mentioned in another forum where you posted this, tossing about 1gig in a CICS transaction may be self-defeating.

people say so, but on the other hand when you are doing lots of webservices, IBM has to solve any troubles and they do... :-)
