Hi all of you,
Bought a brand new IBM pc with XP Home OEM loaded.Just after few days ,the HDD could not start. The F11 option could not work.So i tried to re-install but now using XP Pro ,non OEM version. From there i could get to the Preload partition of my disk ,where the xp home installation was found ,and i re-intalled it.
But just as i ended the re-installation ,a message appears ,asking for activation.
Is there anyway for me to go about solving this activation problem without calling Microsoft ,or via phone call,as my boss should not be aware of it

Note : I have the product key sticked on the PC.i USED IT DURING THE INSTALLATION ,BUT STILL THE ACTIVATION MESSAGE CONTINUES TO APPEAR AND EVERY DAY THE NUMBER OF DAYS DECREASES,THUS INCREASING THE STRESS...

Could anyone help ?

Thanks in advance
