Laptop was dropped. HD has quite a few damaged clusters ( I ran Scandisk (Win98) for hours; some fixed, but it never finished when tested for days. Obviously a damaged drive. ) Ran the built-in IBM Diagnostics, and the HD shows up as OK ( which it definitely isn't ); but I also got the following System Board Errors:

ERR 91
FRU 3610
Never worked on one of these before, anyone have any idea what this indicates?
Is there a download available to replace the IBM ThinkPad built-in Diagnostics and other info, after a new HD is installed?
Husband recently bought this used, with no documentation, or disks.
