Hi,
I have a IBM PC 300GL 6282-XX with 32 MB RAM (2X16 SDRAM 66ns). I wanted to upgrade it to 128 MB (2X64) which it was the max. stated at the cover of the PC.

I could not find 64 MB SDRAM 66ns, so I put 2 pcs of 64 MB Kingston SDRAM PC100. It could detect only 16 MB RAM each, totalled 32 MB RAM.

Is there any thing that I could do about it?

Need help, thanks.

Is there a setting in the bios where you can change the speed of the RAM? (ie, slow it down)

What happens if you use just one of the new sticks?
