Is anyone out there using an IBM 3494 library with 3592J1A fiber attached drives on a Solaris master server and sharing the library between NetBackup and a Mainframe ????

I had alot of questions, i.e. How to keep NetBackup from seeing all the mainframe tapes?, When adding a drive it asks for the IBM device id, where do we gets this id ? The tlhtest utility will not unload and dismount tapes, IBM say's the function will not work due the library manager involvement and not to worry about it but anytime the robtest utility had problems on the old tld library we had sso issues. I was hoping I could meet a contact and share info. I have a Veritas rep coming on-site today and some of these issues may be addressed but it appears that we may be on the bleeding edge and info is scarce for this config.
